The Energy Futures Game
Run a country's trading desk across crude, gas, power, LNG, carbon and uranium. Play solo against three rival desks, or pass one device around the table with up to five friends. Real futures arithmetic underneath: margin, mark-to-market, settlement, commissions. Highest VIRYA Score wins.
First time? The sign-up form starts you against one rival. Or pick Practice there for a fixed 12-round run that is not ranked.
Rivals from the epics
The math is real
Contracts carry V₹50M notional with 10% margin and a V₹1M commission, and the whole book is marked to market on every price change. Contracts expire on a published schedule every few rounds, so a position can be taken with a horizon and the expiry priced in.
Game abstractions: the P&L, margin and commission arithmetic is real, but two things are simplified onto the board. A margin call only happens when you land on the Margin Call stop (real exchanges check margin every day), and every contract expires on one shared schedule.
Around the table
Pass & Play seats two to five people on one device, same as the Datacenter Economy game. Trade at your stop, roll, hand it over. The hints panel reads the board ahead for whoever is holding the device.
